Writing Global Jewish Narratives
Overview
Renowned Creative Writing faculty at SF State Carolina de Robertis, Michael David Lukas, and Chanan B. Tigay will discuss their work in relation to the theme of writing Jewish narratives from a global perspective. Moving between Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States, this event focuses on the diversity of Jewish narratives worldwide.
Presented by the Department of Jewish Studies as part of the Jewish Writer in the World lecture series. Co-sponsored by the Departments of Creative Writing, the Department of Comparative World Literature and the Department of English Language and Literature.
Free and open to the public. Authors’ books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.

COVID-19 requirements to attend San Francisco State University events
Until further notice, audience members who attend SF State events will be required to either:
- Provide proof of vaccination using California’s Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record, or

San Francisco State faculty, students and staff will need to show their “Green Dot” after completing the SF State COVID-19 daily screening.
SF State health and safety protocols are to be followed at all times, including wearing face coverings indoors and adhering to all guidance measures.
