Remembering our colleague, Professor Anita Silvers

The Department of Jewish Studies mourns the passing of our colleague, Anita Silvers, Professor and former chair of Philosophy. Professor Silvers was not only committed to disability advocacy and Disability Studies, but she was also an advocate for faculty and students at every level in her career, a friend of Jewish Studies whose counsel was always greatly appreciated. We join with the Department of Philosophy, the Longmore Institute, and LCA, in remembering her.
